Am I missing something?
The last few times I've been to the Rec Center to work out, I've seen people - grown adults - drinking:
Mountain Dew
Coke
Chocolate Milk
Now, I'm not a big fan of energy drinks, etc., being a pretty devout water drinker myself. I'm just wondering what the jump is:
Water
Gatorade
Coke
Five Hour Energy Drink
Mountain Dew
Chocolate Milk?
Just wondering.
I don't know how I know this, but I'm pretty sure there was some article or study lately that said that chocolate milk was a good post-workout drink. For "recovery" or whatever workout-heads talk about when they talk about post-workout drinks.

If Mountain Dew caused weight loss, I would have been the thinnest girl at my high school. My life would have been so drastically different, and it would have been all thanks to doing the Dew. Alas ...

ReplyDeleteAlone - IF ONLY. I, myself, was a diet coke gal in high school. That + a friend who had an eating disorder kept me slim. SCORE!
