As I was flipping through the tv channels last night, I happened upon the show Tyrannasarous Sex. (Yes, this exists.).

Where two rhinos were fucking. (doggie style).

I don't often watch Extreme Makeover Home Edition, but every single time I do, I cry like a fucking baby.

I made granola today. It came out nice & chewy & delicious. Lots of cranberries, cherries & raisins. I was going to put in chocolate chips, but tried to be healthy.

I may add them later, though. Mmmm. Chocolate chippity.

Finally the Weekend

Off to dinner with friends tonight. The rest of the weekend is theoretically quiet. Some fun-ish errands [pretty-ing up stuff like makeup and hair products] and possibly laundry, which may not sound fun, but is actually a delight when you are down to your last pair of pants. There are only so many places you can go out in your underwear in Michigan in February. The rec center is not one of them. Don't ask me how I know. It just is.

Also, the post office frowns on it, too. Stupid bureaucrats.

Fuck you, iTunes.

For some reason, I'm stuck in some bullshit loop of authorizing for specific songs which I still can't play.

Which makes me insane because I have zero patience for computers under the best of circumstances. This? Makes me homicidal.

I like to spread my stuff out. If I'm sitting and there is a chair next to me, I'll put my coat/purse/monkey in that chair. Also on the table in front of me.

But! I also need a buffer, so I get very antsy when people sit/put their stuff/stand next to me/my chair/the table.

Sometime I envy all the space the boy in the plastic bubble had.

I was folding laundry today (again, because it spreads like wildfire & must be contained by precise folding) and watching Malcolm in the Middle. I submit that there is nothing funnier than Hal dancing/rollerskating/speedwalking. Hilarious!!!

Quiet Time is Now Over

New month, new start.

I spent several days being sick, after the girl was sick, and then the husband got sick. It was a BLAST being here.

We still managed somehow to see friends - the great thing about being kind of/sort of/not quite sick is that you can kid yourself that you're FINE AND DANDY until you pretty much fall down and stay down from exhaustion. Which is what each of us did at some point during the past week.

I knew I was better, finally, last night when I got INSANELY cranky at the husband for sleeping on the couch. Because he was sick and I finally felt better and how dare he not wake up and entertain me.

I can be a touch needy. I guess. I like to think of it as being the kind of person who pushes you to do your best. By making sure that I'm entertained.
