Ah, the gentle, ladylike arts. |
The Details:
- I'm giving away this cross stitch in a random drawing to be held on Friday morning, March 25, 2011. And yes, it will be finished by then. Promise. It'll look amazing. I'll update with a photo as I finish it.
- To enter, leave a comment on this post anytime between now and Thursday, March 24, 2011, at, say, 6:00pm EST.
- You get an extra entry for tweeting about this - just leave another comment saying you did so. And if you pimp the giveaway somehow, you get lots of karmic bonus points, and another entry. Plus, if this is a resounding success, I'll probably do another giveaway or open an Etsy shop and make tens of dollars.
- I'll announce the winner on Friday morning, and you can then email me/DM me your info.
- I'll mail out the cross stitch as soon as I get your info, which I will only share with my favorite telemarketers/Jehova's Witnesses. They're really, really nice.
Now, leave a comment to enter! [And it may help your chances if you leave a comment that extols my virtues. You never know. It may.]
Suniverse, I adore your wonderful genteel lady-like ways. They remind me of my own.
ReplyDeletePlus a tweet as well.
ReplyDeleteHave I told you lately how much I love your blog? I am not a fan of things "crafty." I make an exception for irreverent pieces.
ReplyDeleteYah for the giveaway!
ReplyDeleteLOVE that you made it into a giveaway! We'll see who the lucky winner will be!
ReplyDeleteprops to cross-stitching. i love cross-stitch, especially subversive cross-stitch. i did their "truthiness" pattern, and it's pretty rock star. makes me happy that someone else is out there needling it up. :)
ReplyDeleteMore reasons to love u. Give it to me!!!!! Lol
ReplyDeleteAh I like it...I'd like to send this msg to the universe today.
I find it hilarious that you CROSS STITCH vulgar sayings. The pairing of the two is such a dichotomy.
ReplyDeleteWhen my son went to Australia, he brought back a t-shirt for me. It has a cartoon shark on it and the words "Bite Me." So, clearly, I need the cross-stitch for matchy-ness.
ReplyDeleteOr maybe I should just send you the shirt. I cut the neck out of it. Is that OK?
Grand Ma-Ma would be so proud and then horrified. So, I love it!
ReplyDeletethis would work wonderfully as a cross-promotion with one of the 5 billion vampire movies, books and tv shows we have out there today.
ReplyDeleteI want the SUCK IT pillow!
ReplyDeleteI so want that and you don't even need to bite me.
ReplyDeleteWant. --Jordan
ReplyDeleteI REALLY need this for my cubicle at work. Bad.
ReplyDeleteI will frame this and put it over my fireplace, which says a lot since I don't have a fireplace so i will have to get a contractor to put one in. Pick me! Pick me!
ReplyDeleteThis would be the best. birthday. present. EVER. Bite me! Er... I mean, choose me!
ReplyDeleteHoly crap! I need this!
ReplyDeleteDo you by chance have one that also says Suck It?
Oooooh me me me me!!!!!
ReplyDeleteThere's a website called subversive cross stitch? Man, I don't know any of the cool stuff anymore.
ReplyDeleteI would like that piece of art please. I would also like to bite you. Is this an either/or option?
ReplyDeleteThere's a "suck it" pillow? You might need to open an Etsy shop.
ReplyDeleteCrap!! How did I (almost) miss this?? Good thing I read today's post because I want that!!!
ReplyDeleteIf we combine your cross stitching and my crude cat cards, we would make ... absolutely no money at all, but it would be fun.
