Parenting. It's all about being the grown up.

Me: Should I put mushrooms in this stir-fry? Eh, no. I'm too tired to clean and chop them.

The girl: Good. No mushrooms messing up the stir-fry.

Me: How do you not like mushrooms?

The girl: They're gross.

Me: You're gross.

    In theory mushrooms are gross. Why come, then,, are they so delicious?
